Retirement Consultant

By Specializing in retirement income planning, I am intimately familiar with the challenges of preparing for an enjoyable future. More importantly, I have gained the knowledge needed to help individuals and couples navigate the planning process with ease. I have had the pleasure time and again helping clients maximize the value of their assets and accomplishing their most important retirement goals.

After studying at Calvin College, I started a family and spent time with my four children volunteering in the retirement community reaching out to those in need. In doing so, I learned about the complexities of aging firsthand, and the financial devastation experienced by some families who hadn’t completed proper planning.

I was determined to make a positive difference, so I decided to further my education to focus on financial advisement, obtained my life and health license, Series 65 license, and my Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) designation to open my personal practice.

As a firm believer that knowledge is crucial to the planning success, I pride Myself in providing clients with all the facts in an unbiased setting and the support they need to make decisions in their best interest. Ultimately, my professional fulfillment comes from empowering others to take control of their retirement in a confident manner.

Wealth Advisor

Being committed to, and only working in, the Biblically Responsible Investing space has been years in the making, and I am blessed to be able to serve God, my clients, and the community in this way. I have been working in the financial services industry since 2011 and became a licensed fiduciary in 2016. I joined Life Impact Advisors (a member of Inspire Advisors, LLC) in the beginning of 2020 to live more fully aligned with my values, to incorporate my faith into every area of what I do, and be fully supported in serving clients, not just their portfolios. I love working with clients to discover and pursue their goals.

I am an Aquinas College graduate where I majored in Theology and Mathematics and minored in Physics. While working at Aquinas College I met my wife. We have been married since 2010 and have 4 kids that keep us pretty busy.

A few random fun facts about me: I juggle fire and swords (not usually at the same time), have been to Machu Picchu twice (once on crutches), lead several service learning trips to the Dominican Republic and Peru, met and was blessed by Pope Benedict XVI on my honeymoon, performed in Carnegie Hall, studied Krav Maga for 3 years, and thoroughly love being a husband and a dad.
